February update and catapult video!

Good afternoon backers!

We are happy to bring you a long overdue update!  Here at Galladoria Games we have been heads down busy getting all of the Factions of Galladoria pieces engineered for SiOCast, as well as fulfilling a very successful holiday sales season.

Our small team makes it hard to keep the marketing and communication as frequent as we would like, but we hear you loud and clear, that everyone wanted to see what's been going on behind the scenes!  So I apologize for being a bit slow on this update.

Now lets get onto some pictures of new casts from the campaign!

First up is our human water well, we completed these molds (it comes in 2 parts) and have completed all casting for the campaign as well already.

Next is a picture of our dwarven well!

This week we also just completed the Orc Long Barricades shown below

Today we have the Orc short barricade mold being worked on! here is a snapshot of one of the master models for it!

Here are some very cool shots of our heavy siege catapult!!!

Lastly we have the long anticipated video showing the functional catapult!! We are launching a sack of fish into our palisade.

That'll show 'em!!!

Trade show update!

Galladoria Games is excited to be returning to GenCon again this year! We had an amazing time last year in entrepreneur alley, and we are thrilled to be invited back in the regular vendor area!  We hope to see many of you at the show, and will be talking about it more as we get closer to the Con.

We also will be at Reapercon again as usual, and can't wait to see everyone in Texas!

Next Update

I am planning on providing another update by the end of the month with a production list of what molds have been completed and what pieces are still left to go.  We are definitely getting close to mold completion and can't wait to start to see the unpainted pledges in the wild!  Our hand painted fulfillment will begin after the unpainted pledges are out the door, and our painters have orders ready to go.  We already have thousands of pieces painted and in inventory, but we still have thousands to go!  next month we will post an update with some pictures of the painted inventory for everyone as well!

We are as eager as everyone else to get this Kickstarter fulfilled, and bring this product to our webstore.

First everyone from the Galladoria Games family would like to wish you and yours a happy and safe holiday!

We have been incredibly busy on many fronts and making great progress.  We have had our best holiday season yet at galladoria.com and are getting the painted orders out as quickly as possible!  We have also been working on the last batch of molds for the Kickstarter making really good progress.  Some of the sculpts needed some adjusting to produce the best possible end product for everyone, and some have even seen some upgrades.  We finished the Siege Catapult, and have  upgraded it so it is now Functional!  You can now use your large Siege Catapult to send minis flying across you game table :) It is wild fun and we can't wait to show you a video of it!

Speaking about video's of siege catapults, we have been heads down and have not had the time to shoot the video and photos we wanted for this update, so all of that goodness including production photos of the  Palisade Guard Tower we are just finishing up will be in a January update!

But Kevin I thought you were hoping to start sending out unpainted pledges before the holidays ?!?!?

We were, but we are still finishing up some of the molds to make sure Factions of Galladoria blows you all away when they arrive!  I am verry sorry we did not hit the updated goal we set for everyone, but rest assured we are not taking the pedal off the accelerator!  The team is continuing to work through the holiday season, and the factory is only going to be closed next Friday just  before Christmas weekend.

Keep an eye towards you email for our January update with new production photos and that Catapult launching video, and have a safe and happy holiday season with your families!

Happy Friday Backers!

We just wanted to post a quick update and some photos, of some new production casts, and what were doing today in the shop!

First some of the latest model production casts!

Here is the Large Elf Ballista! This is the Big Siege weapon compared to our small ballistas.  This was a fun one to make and I think it turned out great!

Here is the first sighting of the Free Human Cannon Stretch Goal!  This is the production cast, up until today I believe it was only seen as a render in the campaign.  I hope you all like this free stretch goal!

This next one is one of the tougher molds we had to make for the campaign, but we feel its so cool and unique!!  The Elf Bramble Barricade.

This Spikey Barricade was a fun challenge to mold, but hopefully you agree we nailed this one!

We also went around the shop and took a few behind the scenes photos of what we are currently doing as a team.

First up is a picture form the casting bench.  It shows the current SiOCast mold rotation we are running today.  You run a 9 mold Rotation with SiOCast, this gives you enough time when you reach the end of the rotation to let the molds cool down before you start the rotation again.  It takes about 25 minutes to run a full rotation of 9 molds and the Plastic Miniatures start to pile up :)

In this picture we have the logs from the campsite, the dwarf statues, the human statues, the side braces from the campsite, the broken palisade walls, the large elf barricade brambles, the human cannon barrels, the human cannon bases, and the small elf barricade brambles, and the last mold is still closed and its the 50mm Palisade walls!

We swung by the painting department to see some in progress shots!

Mmmmm Hot fresh Prisoner Pits being painted on Bakers Racks :)

Looks like these Elf Prisoner Pits are almost done and ready for sealing!!

Pledge Manager Closing Soon!

Happy Friday Backers!

We have been deep into production since shortly after the campaign closed, but we are now at the point where we need to close the pledge manager.  This will allow us to calculate the final number of molds that will be needed to finish up the campaign, and start to plan the final production schedule.

We are going to be closing the pledge manager next Friday!  Please make any adjustments you would like to make before next Friday.  We are one step closer to fulfillment beginning.  We are still pushing to have fulfillment start just before the holidays in December.  As we get closer to that date we will keep posting updates of the production pieces, and continue to keep everyone informed on our progress and how we are looking!
