Palisade Wall Bases! an interactive discussion :)

Good Evening Backers,

 For those of you that are interested in our wooden palisade check out the pictures and information below and leave your feedback in the comments.

The Palisade wall segments need to have a base underneath them to keep them standing upright.  We have settled that the wall segments are going to attach to the bases so that they can be removed and used in a number of unique ways! You could have our siege ram slam into a wall segment and simply lift it off the pegs in the base and have it knocked over exposing a breach into the fort.  You could take off the 2inch wall segment and use it as a quick make shift raft for your party to escape down the river etc etc.

We originally designed the bases to be simple rectangles to match the footprint of the wall or corner segment.  We then took out some hobby knives and sliced the corners into more of a hex base system.  See the pictures below.  With the hex design you can use the existing walls in more unique shapes and configurations.  For instance the 2 inch walls now easily support 45 degree angles for odd shaped forts.

What do you think of the pictures below and leave your feedback.  We want the final wall design to be a truly awesome and configurable solution, and we would love to hear your input as well.

Good evening backers!

We have produced some of the prototype molds for the Basic Palisade pieces, and this has given us the data we need to lock in more accurate Kickstarter pricing.  The good news is that your dollar will stretch further now with your wooden palisades!  All Pieces except the Guard Tower are now doubled!! We have also included a few updated painted pictures, more will be coming tomorrow as we get more painted pieces on the table.

We are closing in on the $28,000 stretch goal! and we have a bunch more free unlocks and addons to go!   Spread the word and lets see how many new miniatures and terrain pieces we can unlock!

Wooden Palisade Base Set Unlocked!

Happy Monday Backers!

So as a surprise to start the week off right, we have unlocked the entire Wooden Palisade Base set!!  This seems to be a very highly anticipated add-on and we decided to release the whole base kit at once.  All pieces are available individually so you can mix and match as you choose.

We will be putting together some suggested builds as the campaign goes on for your reference as well.

We have about 6 additional pieces that are ready to unlock as the campaign progresses, and if we get overwhelming support could develop even more to build the Palisade of your dreams :)

We are closing in on the first addition to a core kit as well with the Dwarf Barricades.  This is 3 very cool barricade pieces that will be added as part of Dwarf Kit 2 for all of its backers.

It was requested to see how our small elf Ballista would look on board the Reaper Miniatures Pirate Ship in place of their cannons!

Afternoon backers!!!

At Galladoria we are so excited to get these awesome minis into your hands that we have actually just started some early production, and first up was molding and cranking out the chairs from the campaign!! Here are a few shots and a flyover video of day 2 production with the amazing SiOCast!
